Kräuterwind
Kräuterwind (which means wind of herbs) has become a successful regional project between the green countryside of the Westerwald region, the romantic Rhine Valley and the Heights of Taunus and the river Lahn.
A green and natural network of more than 100 partners. Not only around 50 gardens but also garden professionals like garden planners or nurseries participate. Hotels and restaurants belong to the Kräuterwind landlords that bring more regional food on the table and do more cooking with herbs. Herb specialists who take the guests out into meadows and forests and give a presentation of the culinary and healthy aspects of wild herbs. Also training courses in cooking, gardening and use of herbs take place. The travel offers are a quite new part and take people to nice green and interesting places in the region but also across. A nice variety of high quality and regional inspired food and hand crafts products under the label Kräuterwind top the variety off.
