Regional Garden Associationsin Germany A community is not the sum of interests, but the sum of devotion
Parks and gardens have cumulative networked in the last years. Now they are working together as a garden initiative in the Federal Association of Gartennetz Deutschland e.V.. About 20 regional gardennetworks with about 1500 parks and gardens got involved for the sponsorship of garden cultur in the meantime. The Gartenetz Deutschland e.V. pins on increase of quality, on increase in visitors, on advancement of garden tourism, image improvement, on the exchange of experiences by cooperartions among each other and in a European context as well as on the professionalisation of offers and services close to gardens. Whether modern gardens, historical cultivated parks and garden or fondly cultivated private gardens – park and garden owners will common sensitise for their pleasure grounds. Organised as a casual team – a net without judicial commitment- as a compact garden route, in an association structrure the valorisation and announcement of the garden cultural capability is close to their heart.
